2020 09 07 - State Park, Afton

We stopped and bought our Minnesota State Park annual pass. For a few years we bought them every year. Now it has been a couple of years since we have had one.

Today is Labor Day. And the park is almost full. Usually where we park there are less than a half dozen cars. Today the 1st lot is full, the 2nd lot is full, the 3rd is almost full. By the time we get back the 4th is full.

We stay on the easiest, flattest trail. Blacktopped. We walk for about 40 minutes total, out and back. Not very many people on this trail so I don't know where they all were.

Someone had a good idea for the littler kids, walkie talkies. Just as long as one of the kids doesn't try to hide.

No noticeable wildlife today.

My wife did use the restroom. The main part of the building is closed but the indoor restrooms are open. Open with signs that say one family at a time. It doesn't say how you are supposed to know if someone is already in there.
