2020 10 16 - City Park, Forest City IA - Hynes Spur Trail

We were waiting for work and decided to take a walk. I had seen people walking here recently so I knew there was a trail but didn't know anything else about it.

Where we walked, it is paved and has these little exercise signs. Looking at a map later, this trail goes for miles. It is not showing online as a park area most of the way.

We started on the south end of the trail. It is on the south edge of town. And the sign on the highway ... I don't know what it says because my new camera sometimes just focuses when I click to take a picture. This was one of those times. The sign said something about being a Winnebago boat launch.

We were not dressed for waking in the temps and the wind that day so it was a quick short walk. This may have been where we turned around. It wasn't long but it was not just sitting, driving.
