2021 01 09 - Moss Beach, Del Monte Forest CA

We had the weekend off of work so we headed down to the Pacific Grove / Santa Cruz area.

The 1st place we headed was to the 17 Mile Drive. Our main walking stop here was on Moss Beach. There was some boardwalk, but then for a stretch it was buried under the drift sand.

We spent most of an hour walking with some sitting and taking pictures. The boardwalk is an easy walking, but some of the walk is dune sand so good walking shoes are an almost must.

Because this is a 'pay to drive/park' we figured it was a more safe area to park. It also wasn't as crowded as the open area's for a weekend day.

Below is a 'wide angle shot,' the board walk is actually straight.
