(looking to the lake from the Art Fair)
Even shorter walks today. Now my wife is trying to decide if these short walks are getting her back in shape or doing more damage.
Our first very short walk was across the street to the Worlds Best Donuts. Maybe ??? a 1/10th of a mile.
Later we drove up to the Art Fair and walked around there for an hour or ??? Because of the road work on Hwy 61 this year they could not have the art fair on the main street like they usually do. By having it at the school up on the hill, they were able to space out the vendors so it looked like there were more but I asked and there were actually 15 less vendors.
And by being on the hill it is a lot warmer, before we were half done, most of the group was done and no longer looking. Another down side for us of having it 'up the hill' was that is the only time we will go. When it is on the main street we walk through it many times during the two days.
Seeing we ate donuts early, we did not go for actual breakfast in the AM.
At noon, my wife and I walked to a food truck that was a few blocks away. The Crooked Spoon used to have a building but it burnt down a couple of years ago. Now they are back in their same spot with a truck. Good food, but less choice.
Later in the day we went rock picking. The walk from and to the car was likely less than a couple of blocks. But we were out doors and getting lots of vitamin D.
In the evening most of us walked to the Hungry Hippie for Taco's. Another walk of less than a half mile round trip. Sidewalk and gravel road because of the road work.
So today's walks likely added up to less than two miles. But we walked.
