PICTURE - Sand path
This state park was no charge. This park is on a peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean but is on the 'land' side of the peninsula.
We had been sitting in our hotel all day because of the weather and it looked like we would finally get a break so we headed out.
As we were driving in we saw a few deer, that was the only wildlife we saw, or noticed. There may have been birds that we didn't pay any attention to.
The paths are very flat as we are at sea level. Part of the area is board walk and the other is sand, some areas are marked better than others.
The first area of this path was the Carnivorous Plants area. But being winter and us not knowing plants we could not tell what was what. There were signs saying it was illegal to pick or take any of those plants.
The path we took was about an hour of walking and taking pictures.

PICTURE - In land beach
We did try to take a few selfie's with my new camera but today was the first day I had looked at my camera and I didn't figure it out.
We did walk along the beach for a ways following in the path, but the wind was so strong I thought it would blow my camera off the ledge so we only tried that a couple of times.
By the time we got back out our car it was raining again so our timing was right. Nice walk and free.
