2022 07 17 - Judge CR Magney State Park - Grand Marais MN

Picture: Someone has written a reminder on the post at the top of the stairs.

This is also know as the 'Devils Kettle' park. And you will need to do the steps to see the Devils Kettle and / or the Falls.

I have done the steps twice, when I was a few years younger. And this year we saw younger people carrying their little ones. That was years ago.

There is quite a bit of incline just to get to the steps. Including about 20 railroad type steps.

I think the walk/climb to the steps took us about a half hour round trip. Neither of us is in shape this year. We have not even been walking even every week.

Picture: Looking down stream from the bridge. It is close to the parking lot and no incline to get to that point. This trip there was a lot of fog, it moved in and out all weekend.
