2023 04 26 - Dinosaur Caves Park - Pismo Beach CA

We planned on walking a few places today on our trip between jobs. We looked at a map and this was the first place we saw where Hwy 101 returned to the ocean after our hotel.

I had to look this location up to learn more about it. There is a story if you want to Google it. It is an 11 acre site, I would not have guessed it was that large.

There is very little change in elevation along the trail. Park has a parking lot plus room for parking on the city streets.

The trail continues along the bluff for a ways. We only walked for about a mile of it.

This is a narrow park, then the road, then the expressway/freeway and then the hills. Not secluded and the few trees that are there are not much more than head high.

Lots of flowers, most all seem to be in some state of bloom.

None of these pictures show it, but we are quite a few stories above the water. The fog was thick enough this day that we didn't get any good distance pictures.
