2023 07 06 - Canal Park - Duluth MN

When we stay in Duluth we stay right on the board walk in Canal Park so we walk it often.

Our first walk was shortly after we arrived. We walk as far east as the freeway and as far west as the charter tour launch. Today our mission was to find a bench with the family name of someone I was in contact with on FB.

We walked the whole board walk, looked at every bench and didn't find it. So that night I had to re-contact them to get a specific location.

The bench is actually one of the older ones at the park, not one of the new ones along the board walk.

Because we are staying at a water front hotel, we leave our car at the hotel the whole time we are near the canal. The walk is flat unless you walk for an hour or so east. The canal area is all flat and there is a path to walk, to bike and a third path for the horses.

Walking west, the path becomes more of a sidewalk than a walking path.
