2023 07 09 - Gooseberry Falls State Park - Two Harbors MN

Plan was just to stop at the welcome center and walk from there. Parking was full and people were parking along the roadway.

We have a park pass so we drove into the park to do our walk. Lots of place to park in the park. And rest rooms.

We walked about our usual hour. We started above where the falls river meets the lake and walked in land from there.

Most places the trail was not wide enough to walk side by side and we usually stopped when meeting someone. On the left of the trail in this picture, the drop off is closer to the path than the path is wide so we are walking right on the edge. My guess is about 2-3 stories up.

The path is not flat, some inclines are just rock while others have stairs. There is a path near the falls that is paved and is maybe a half mile without any stairs or major incline.
