Picture: Paved trail and dry grass.

This is the closest real walking trail to our shipper in this area so we have been here a few times. In this part of the park the trail is almost completely flat. There are other non-paved trails but we usually stick to this one. (Not sure why)

It is a 'fee park' but we think that keeps out some of the riff-raff. Not sure that's the case but it gives us some piece of mind.

The beginning of this trail is almost 100% not shaded which is an issue on hot days. A ways into the trail there is more shade but that area has been closed off due to flood damage that has not been repaired.

Looking at the areal photo of the park, we have not even hit 10% of the trails and so far is always the same 10%. Almost always, we did take a different route once when we were walking further on these trips. Maybe next time we will take a path less traveled.

Picture: There are some flowers along the path.

Can't tell as good from this picture, but these have spikes. And they are an invasive species.

They are about the only thing green in direct sun other than the trees.
