2023 09 17 - Irvine Park - Chippewa Falls WI

The park is 318 acres in size and includes a free zoo. The zoo area is where we walked today as we had never been there before and we have a lot of extended family pictures that were taken at this zoo 70+ years ago.

The area where most of the animals are has a paved sidewalk. I think it was only the buffalo area where we were walking on the grass and could have walked on the street.

The zoo area is mostly flat but it looked like the trail paths were not paved and had some inclines. There was also a large area where the grass was kept mowed but I don't remember if there were walking paths in that area or not.

Short walk today as we were traveling for/to work. The whole zoo and park area are free and about an hour from our house.
