Cedar River Trail runs right behind the Comfort Inn we have stayed at many times. Today was the firs time we have walked it.

There is a parking lot for the trail on our side street and the trail also runs through a number of parks and crosses a few streets where there would also be parking.

We did our usual <> one hour / three mile walk without crossing any streets. We first walked south until we got to a street and then double back until we got to where the trail became more or less the sidewalk.

If we had continued south another half mile we would have been in McLoud Run Park.

The trail is all paved and looks to be about as flat as a rail trail. Not really secluded where we walked but no cross traffic or residential lawns.
