Smaller park, only a couple of places to park. It didn't look like the office was open to buy a park permit.

We park in the parking lot across the street from the office right near the entrance. That looked to be as far as the roads were paved.

We both remember being here before but not which trails we might have walked on (it would have been 10-20 years ago) But my wife thinks we might not have walked because it was too muddy or slippery last time.

Dry this time, mostly. No paved or accessible trails. We pick a short one based on looking at a map, we have not started looking at the elevation changes usually.

The trails are two people wide in the grassy area's but then narrow to single file in the wooded and incline area's. Leaves have pretty much fallen and there have been very few walkers so it is not always easy to see where the walking path is.

The path we took did have some up and down, maybe 20-30 feet overall. Not real steep anywhere but enough that it would be slippery on wet leaves.

By the time we hit the half hour mark of the walk we decided to head to the car instead of the original longer path. So our trip ended up being about 45 minutes. We do plan on walking again today so we don't want to push it too far, for us.

We left the parking lot on the other end from where we came in and first noticed that the drive was not wide enough for cars to come and go at the same time but there were no one-way signs. Then I realized I was on the sidewalk ... Opps.

This is a state park so there is a fee.

Picture: The leaves covered paths. Most places there was enough brush on the non-paths to know where the paths were.
