Picture: Street sign for Six Mile Slough.
The guess is that it is called this because it is six miles from Tampa. The park is over 3,000 acres but it seems the only path is a 1.4 boardwalk.
We arrived here after visiting four cemeteries today but not much walking at any of them.
This is a pay to park park. But cheap.
Being near the end of the day it was not very busy.
Somehow, when we started, we must have been looking at the trees and not the path. There were arrows pointing in the direction of travel. We missed them until later when we were wondering why the arrows were always pointing in the way we just came from (and why most of the people were coming from the opposite direction)

Not much to see today. We did find one area where three people had their large lens camera's focused on a owl in a tree. A couple of them let us look. Nice, but I'm not ready to trade my car's for a camera.
Nice secluded area to walk, not much for sight seeing. Later we did see a huge flock of birds by I lake, that sounds like they get active during mating season but you would have to be really into it to know those details.

Picuture: A little reflection
