Picture: East entrance to park.

We had gotten work and driven up from FL. We got to the customer and they had not left out the keys for me. So we had time to kill.

We found this park a couple of miles from our hotel. A bit chilly so not too many locals out.

One of the first times we stayed in this town, it was a a Super 8. The front desk clerk was behind bullet proof glass. That has kind of set the tone for all future visits. We have never had an issue with anything, anywhere but that has stuck with us.

This is a 55 acre garden with about 5 miles to trails. It is next to a University so a few college kids walking, running, studying.

The area is split into the Historic, Asiatic and Native gardens. The kind where a lot of the foliage is labeled.

There is some elevation change in this garden. Some paths are paved, others are not. There is a fee to park in the parking lot we used on the east side by the building.
