This is being written up a month later so I do not remember why we chose to walk the path we did. But the path we walked was paved, it could have been that the others were not.

But for us it was almost like walking on the sidewalk. Most of the trail was next to a highway, with a stretch here and there into the desert.

There were lots of cars here, and a nice building at the trail head. But we saw very few people so they all likely took the trails that went away from the highway.

But free parking, no pan handling and an almost paved flat trail.
