From in front of Macy's looking east.

I don't remember the numbers but this mall has been pretty much able to keep pace with the MOA. It is still one of the busiest malls in the area.

But it is smaller, when they tore down the Wards/Herberger's store it looks like they also removed a few small stores so that wing is shorter. And it has a lot more parking lot between the mall and the freeway now.

And when they added Von Maur, they did not add a long hall with more shops. We hadn't been here since Von Maur was completed.

Inside the mall there were not 10 empty store fronts, maybe two? Since that day and writing this today, the zoo has closed. Outside, the restaurants next to the theater have closed and the top area on the east end has become a modern food court. That was one thing this mall had always lacked, a food court.

Not a lot of people at the mall but it was early on a Friday morning.

This mall still has the phone stores inside the mall and some places like DQ are in the same place they have been for decades.

This mall does have at least one area where there are two levels of parking so that it's possible to enter the mall without facing all the weather.

Still a very nice mall.
