From the lower level.

Work has been slow so we have been mostly home and the fires in Canada are making the air quality so bad that no one is advised to be outside. I've still been going out in the garden to weed but nothing no hard work and for shorter periods of time.

My wife has not been going out at all so we decided it was time to get some walking in.

The mall is over a half hour from our house and there are five malls that are closer so we do not often go here. There was one year, five plus years ago, when we hit every mall in the metro area one winter so we were here then but a lot has changed.

As seen in the pictures, the one thing this mall is missing is people. Other than that it seems to be doing well.

I had thought that at one time this mall had all three Dayton's stores but Wiki says it did not. It only had a Mervin's and a Target.

Currently it has a Kohl's, Target, Von Muir, Sheel's, It has one of two Von Muir's in the metro area and the only Sheel's that is in a mall. I would not have noticed the mall was smaller but when the Sears was replaced with the Sheel's they removed 75% of the original mall. They also at some point moved the food court from the basement to near an entrance which now makes it a two story mall instead of a three story mall.

The walk - most people at the mall are just walking. The mall is well kept and mostly full. JCPenny's did close a couple of years ago and has not been filled but most store fronts either say coming soon, moved to or are used as a display.

This mall has been used in a few movies because of how few people are at the mall but it shows no signs of closing.

It looks ready for customers.
