NOTE: THIS IS BEING WRITTEN UP FOUR MONTHS LATER.

This may be the only place we paid to walk on this whole two week vacation part of our trip. $9 for a one hour walk.

First we stop at Dunes Beach.We didn't remember having to pay to park. So we drove to Venice Beach, it was still pay to park so we did.

Very few car in any of the lots we saw. Weather was jacket weather but the view was why we stopped.

We had found this place a couple of years ago when we were in the SFO area and waiting a day for family to meet us. So we looked for the closest place on the beach we could find. This was it.

Online it says there are 7 miles of paved trails. It is one trail, following the coast line. But other places on the web say some trails are as short as two and a half miles and the total of the parks is the 7 miles. I know we have entered at different locations but we have not been to all 7 miles yet.

Is it worth it? It was today.
