When the weather is too far below freezing we try to get out to a mall and walk. Some years we are better at it than others. Not so much this year.

Part of what we notice when walking the malls is not just how full/vacant they are, but also the store fronts.

This mall looked to be 80+% full, and and the store fronts are updated. Updated, as in the store front matches the current store. There are not just banners hanging over the prior store front.

All anchor locations are full. Penny's, Macy's, Nordstrom's and now Dicks. So it has the only Nordstrom's in MN that is not in the Mall of America. And there are a total of 140 retailers, or space for them.

This place does not have a real food court. It does have one entrance that has a few food places, maybe five out of 10 stores there are food. Charley's is gone. I think it had a Lean Chin's, maybe a Subway. But nothing that makes a food court a draw to the mall.
