About us

I realize now that when I set up this blog that I deleted a lot of the format. Part of that format is a place for 'about us.'

When we/she was working a different job, we used to get annual park passes for both our county and our state. But for the last one or two years we haven't gotten one. We also did have a national park pass a couple of years ago so we were no strangers to our parks.

Labor Day weekend this year we decide to get an annual park pass again. And I decided to blog about our walks.

We are a year on either side of 60 and have no major health issues or disabilities.

My wife and I are now drivers. We drive for a living and are frequently on the road for a couple of weeks at a time now.

When we are driving we don't often have time to walk during the day, so these write-ups will likely come in spurts.
